Sarah Stephenson is a young soprano who has been trained in classical voice for the past 7 years. She has won numerous Kiwanis and Coquitlam District Music Festival competitions, and was the CDMF Provincial National Representative in Musical Theatre in 2017. Sarah has a passion for musical theatre and won a scholarship from Kiwanis to participate in “Gotta Sing

Gotta Dance” in 2017. She also enjoys singing at church, school assemblies, and has performed at both Canada Day celebrations and the Maritime Festival in Richmond. Sarah attended the UBC summer vocal workshop in 2018 and hopes to study music at UBC after high school.

Sam Patterson, a grade 9 French Immersion SDSS student, is ecstatic to be part of Delta Youth Theatre’s SEVENTH production! Credits include: A Christmas Story (Align Entertainment) Mary Poppins (Theatre Under the Stars), The Music Man, The Wizard of Oz(Gateway), Willy Wonka, Beauty and the Beast, Annie, The Little Mermaid, Elf, Into the Woods (Delta Youth Theatre) and is a Joey Award winner and three-time nominee. Sam is a proud member of Perry Ehrlich’s ShowStoppers. He enjoys music and plays guitar and drums. He thanks his parents, his DYT Family, GottaSing!GottaDance! and Tasha for their guidance and support. “Let’s Go Fly a Kite!”

Claire  Bidulka​ is thrilled to be acting the role of Mary Poppins in this DYT Production. Past roles include “Grace Farrell” in Annie, “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, and “Grandma Josephina” in Willie Wonka. Claire also played “Little Sally” in the DSS production of Urinetown. As a previous student of both Tap and Acro, Claire has also completed Level 8 RCM in Piano. As a regular competitor in the

Vancouver Kiwanis Music and the CDMF Performing Arts Festival’s, Claire has won several awards and was recently recommended to the BC Performing Arts Provincial Festival this May.

Bryce Malenstyn​ discovered the joy of performing at an early age. Singing has become his true passion, and he has enjoyed developing his voice through his work with voice instructor Tracy Neff. His musical interests are fairly wide, but he particularly enjoys the sounds of Motown, Jazz and Soul. Bryce has also taken his talents to the musical theatre stage, with recent Delta Youth Theatre performances as ‘Rooster’ in Annie Jr, ‘Lumière’ in Beauty and the Beast Jr, ‘Willy Wonka’ in Willy Wonka, and ‘Bert’ in the upcoming production of Mary Poppins Jr.

Frozen jr.

Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

The Music Man jr.

Based on Meredith Willson's six-time-Tony-Award-winning musical comedy, The Music Man JR. features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance.  The Music Man JR. is family entertainment at its best — a bold, brassy show that will have the whole town atwitter!

Anna Jeffs started with DYT in its inaugural production in 2016. Since then, she has had the privilege of playing roles such as Jack’s Mother in Into The Woods Jr, Chef Louie in The Little Mermaid Jr and Cogsworth in Beauty and The Beast Jr. Her theatre experience also extends behind the scenes, where she has stage managed and directed various productions. After over 10 years of training in music and dance, she is thrilled to be playing the title role in Mary Poppins Jr. this May.

Branagh Jones-Allen is British-born immigrant, high school senior who has been apart of Delta Youth Theatre for two years. In DYT's previous productions Branagh has played the roles of Rooster in Annie jr, Gaston in Beauty & The Beast jr and most recently Mr. Salt in Willy Wonka jr. Outside of DYT Branagh takes part in Delta Secondary's theatre and acting classes and is pursuing a career in professional film acting post-graduation. He believes that DYT's pre-professional environment is the quintessential environment for any aspiring actor and has helped him improve and streamline how he approaches each role he is gifted with.

Laura Marenych is a Grade 12/Honour Roll student at South Delta Secondary School. She is a proud member of Delta Youth Theatre, past shows include Elf (“Jovie”), The Little Mermaid (“Ariel”), Annie (“Grace”), Beauty and the Beast (“Babette”), and Willy Wonka (“Mrs. Bucket). She’s also a dedicated member of the Equinox Theatre having performed in Shrek (“Duloc Dancer”/Student Choreographer),

Thoroughly Modern Millie (“Alice”), High School Musical (“Sharpay”), and Oklahoma! (“Laurey Williams”). Laura is also a student at Deas Island Dance and of the Delta Community Music School. Laura has also just returned from performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City for the Honours Performance Series.

“ In the past Thomas Schultes has played roles such as Lumière in Beauty and the Beast Jr, The Baker in Into the Woods Jr, Walter Hobbs in Elf Jr, and most recently Mr. Bucket/Candy Man in Willy Wonka Jr. Along with this, Thomas has been training in musical theatre for over 6 years and has been a part of Delta Youth Theatre since its creation in 2015. He has been dancing for over 7 years with Studio West Dance. Thomas is honoured to get the chance to play Bert in Mary Poppins Jr. “
