The DYT Musical Theatre Collective is designed to allow young performers to express their
desire to sing, dance and act while developing the necessary skills to audition for and perform in a musical theatre show. Instructors will create a safe environment where students are expected to show up, to listen to instruction, to work together and to encourage one another. This hour-long class will take the model of a Delta Youth Theatre Mainstage Show where students express a keen desire to work towards a common goal and to strive for an open-mindset. This is for students who are hoping to be in a DYT mainstage show or who are already taking part in DYT mainstage shows but need some more instruction-based learning that targets and breaks down skills used in mainstage shows.
There will be a brief demonstration of learning for parents at the end of the 8 classes.

The DYT Dance Collective is designed to allow young performers to improve the dance skills
required to perform in a musical theatre show. The Dance Collective will focus on the dance styles that are prevalent in the shows of DYT's current season. Designed to supplement a student who is currently in a DYT show as well as those wanting to be in future shows, this dance class is a perfect way for musical theatre students wanting to improve in a safe, non-competitive environment.
